But I do believe him and Rose aren’t meant to be together, my heart still breaks for him after everything he did for Rose. Richelle Mead lives in Seattle and is the author of the number-one international bestselling Vampire Academy series. And feel so bad for Dimitri who finally got her back. But I guess if she would have died I would have been super upset. She seemed to finally understand her place and role and her dying would have been the true last sacrifice.

There was this whole lead up with Rose forgiving herself and talking about all this super wise stuff to Dimitri. As much as I am happy that Rose survived, I kind of like the idea of her dying. I felt like the ending just happened too quickly. T he whole book of trying to solve who murdered the Queen and the search for the other Dragomir. I was hoping for so much more after the build up. The ending was nice, but I am also a cynical person and thought it was too soft. * Spoiler Warning* (I was going to try and not to have any, but I just can’t manage that I too many things to say) Rose had so much development and I really liked where she ended up and the girl she had become. The whole time I was reading this I was caught off guard by so many things that I thought I figured out, but I was so WRONG. It was action packed, had many twists that I did not expect. I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to what has now become one of my all time favorite series. I don’t even know where to begin with this post.

Now, with Rose awaiting wrongful execution and Lissa in a deadly struggle for the royal throne, the girls find themselves forced to rely upon enemies and to question those they thought they could trust.īut what if true freedom means sacrificing the most important thing of all?

The Queen is dead and the Moroi world will never be the same. The astonishing conclusion to the #1 international bestselling series, now in paperback! “Life, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to care what we want.”
